Pathways Program: Mentorship

Mentoring ProgramsThe role of mentor is centered on a commitment to advancing the student’s academic and professional career through an interpersonal engagement that facilitates sharing guidance, experience, and expertise.

Why Be a Mentor?

Far from being an optional extra, or a task to be attended as time permits, mentorship benefits both mentors and mentees as it advances the discipline, ensuring the quality and commitment of the next generation of scholars.

Any graduate student who is interested in mentorship and wants to provide or receive support is encouraged to participate in our mentorship program. Please note, the mentoring program is optional and being a mentor is a voluntary position. Please complete and submit the application to Office of Recruitment & Diversity Initiatives.

Mentees should complete this application.

The Graduate Feeder Program contains a mentoring component.
