Save the date! The 2017 UGA College of Public Health Master of Public Health (MPH) Open House will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in Pound Hall on the UGA Health Sciences Campus. The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about the MPH Program and other graduate degree programs offered at the College.

Department of Theatre and Film Studies

On-site auditions and interviews will be held on the campus of UGA in Athens, GA on the following dates. Please join us for a day of acting, voice, and movement workshops, interviews, and tours of the facility and campus. We also invite you as our guest to that evening’s performance.

The University of Georgia’s MFA in Acting focuses on preparing students to be artists in theatre, film, and media and for careers in education. Training encompasses Stanislavski, Meisner, Michael Chekhov, Alexander, Linklater, LeCoq, and Laban. In addition, assistantships are available in teaching, public relations, community outreach, and other leadership opportunities.

Held every year in the fall, Open Studio Night has faculty and students in their studios with their work, happy to answer questions about their practice and life at the Dodd. Join us at the School of Art Building for art and snacks, and we’ll guide you to our satellite spaces as well! This event is free and open to the public.
