Our program provides students with both strong empirical research skills in econometrics, experimentation, and statistics and strong theory development in consumer behavior and strategy. PhD students generally focus in one of these two areas.
The Department of Marketing participates in a wide variety of Terry College programs, including the Masters of Marketing Research program and the undergraduate B.B.A. program. In a related effort, we sponsor (with the American Marketing Association) an Advanced School of Marketing Research. Our other speciality areas include: communication, advertising, customer relationship management, brand management, account management and electronic commerce (including business-to-business e-commerce).
