The Preparing Diverse Populations for Graduate Admissions workshop provides helpful information for juniors, seniors, and alumni who are considering graduate school. Topics will include finding your graduate program, advice on graduate admissions, the application process, types of funding available, and how students can better prepare themselves for their graduate education journey.

Future Scholars Visitation Program

The Future Scholars Visitation Program (FSVP) serves as a recruitment tool for admitted graduate students, allowing them to visit the University of Georgia campus and their academic departments of interest. This program seeks to promote diversity by encouraging the enrollment of students from historically underrepresented/underserved populations including first-generation and rural college students.  Current undergraduate seniors, masters and/or professional students, and graduates from colleges and universities across the United States, including minority-serving institutions and graduate preparation programs, are eligible to be considered.

Gateway to Graduate School

The Gateway to Graduate School Program allows incoming graduate students from historically underrepresented/underserved populations including first-generation and rural college students to begin their graduate education at the University of Georgia in the summer semester rather than the fall.
