New Student Orientation
The New Student Orientation is delivered through an online platform in which Summer 2024 matriculants will be allowed access beginning June 3, 2024.
We strongly encourage everyone to complete the online orientation within the first month of the semester. The first 100 students to complete the Summer 2024 online orientation will receive a Graduate School water bottle.
The online orientation is available asynchronously throughout the semester and includes information from the Graduate School and campus partners on the following topics:

- Graduate School Admissions and Enrolled Student Services
- Student Care & Outreach

- Auxiliary Services (OneCard Office, UGA ID, etc.)
- Transportation & Parking Services
- Campus Safety
- Student Services & Support (Career Center, Disability Resource Center)
- Immigration Services
- Recreational Activities (RecSports, etc.)
- Campus Traditions (The Arch, Chapel Bell, Dawg Walk, etc.)
The Graduate School Welcome Fair for incoming graduate students (Summer and Fall, 2024) will be held on August 12, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the The Classic Center in downtown Athens.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
