How can the Recruitment/Outreach Office assist graduate programs?

  • Provide a one-stop shop for graduate programs to design a recruitment strategy that meets their program needs.
  • Actively consult/collaborate with graduate programs individually, and/or guide programs through our self-service Recruitment Resources Toolbox.
  • Provide Best Practices for:
    • Analyzing recruitment needs using enrollment trends
    • Setting recruitment goals to meet enrollment targets
    • Identifying gaps in recruitment, conversion yields
    • Developing outreach/communication strategies to keep prospective students, applicants, and admitted students engaged through enrollment
  • Provide informational materials for graduate programs’ recruitment/admitted student events, including:
    • Digital/printed cards or fact sheets
    • PowerPoint presentations for different audiences
    • Information for international students
  • Provide access to recruitment-related resources in GradSlate.
  • Provide access to additional recruitment-related resources at the Graduate School.

What is GradSlate, and how do I access it?

The GradSlate CRM is a centralized system that enables graduate programs to store information on prospective applicants and track prospective applicants as they move through the recruitment funnel. Please visit GradSlate for all things related to our graduate CRM.

How do I locate my program's application and enrollment data?

Current application and enrollment data may be accessed in the GradSlate program portal. Historical data can be found in the Office of Institutional Research FACTS.

GradFIRST is a seminar series that supplements discipline-specific training in graduate students’ academic programs with focused professional development and engagement/networking opportunities with faculty and other graduate students. What is GradUP?

GradUP programming encompasses a constellation of transferable skills training for graduate students that complements their program offerings and provides well-being, academic and professional support and an opportunity to thrive and explore endless possibilities. GradUP programming is offered by the Graduate School and by campus partners.
