In partnership with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University and the University of Georgia, the UGA Press has established the Georgia Poetry Prize, a national competition that celebrates excellence in poetry. Authors of winning manuscripts will receive a cash award of $1,000, and their collection will be published by UGA Press under a standard book contract. They will be invited to read their work at all three campuses. Interested parties may consult the guidelines and submit their manuscripts online through Submittable between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30.
