GradLEAD is a new program hosted in partnership by the Graduate School and the department of Engagement, Leadership and Service for all enrolled graduate students no matter the program, year, or expected graduation date to engage in continued leadership development.
The program will run in the Spring of 2025 starting in January and ending in April. As a result of participating in this program, students will cultivate a network of support from peers and mentors, examine the intersection of identity and systems, reflect upon strengths and areas of improvement, and integrate learning into the design of a personal leadership action plan.
Program dates:
- January 25: 10am-2pm, Retreat (in-person)
- February 20: 9am-10:30am (virtual meeting)
- March 25: 10am-11:30am (virtual meeting)
- April 12: 3:30-7:00pm, Closing (in-person)
Applications are open now and will be accepted through November 15, 2024.
Application requirements:
- Enrolled in graduate coursework for Spring 2025
- One letter of recommendation (can be any professional reference, does not have to be a PI/ Faculty, just someone who can speak to your interest and involvement in leadership development)
- Current resume
- Submitted by November 15
