Dr. Sarah E. Sander Lower, a 2015 alumna of UGA’s genetics department, has won the inaugural James F. Crow Early Career Researcher Award. The award honors James F. Crow’s contributions to the field of genetics. Lower won the award for research she completed as a graduate student at UGA. She is now a post-doctoral researcher at Cornell University.
